Biography
Robert Bengtsson is a professional actor based in Stockholm, Sweden, with extensive experience across film, television and stage. He has worked professionally since 2000, both in Sweden and internationally, including several years in the UK.
Robert graduated from the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg in 2000 and later continued his training at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in Stockholm from 2009 to 2010.
His screen credits include roles in acclaimed Swedish productions such as Thin Blue Line (Tunna blå linjen), A Nearly Normal Family (En helt vanlig familj), Sanningen, Familjen Andersson, Beck and Yarden. On stage, Robert has appeared in major productions including The Book of Mormon, Dirty Dancing, RENT and Jerry Springer the Opera at the Royal National Theatre in London.
In addition to acting, Robert is a highly experienced Stage Combat instructor, with skills in areas including fencing, boxing and combat for film.
Robert can currently be seen as Branco in Season 2 of Familjen Andersson and returns as Olle in Season 3 of the acclaimed Swedish crime drama Thin Blue Line. He is also involved in an upcoming television crime drama, with further details to be announced.
