Biography
Arvid Swedrup was born in 1997 in Stockholm, Sweden. At age 9 he attended Calle Flygare Theatre School in Stockholm, and went on to appear in several stage musicals, short films, and commercials. In 2023, he was cast in the starring role of Gottfrid Svartholm Warg in SVT’s mini series, “The Pirate Bay”.
Beyond acting, Arvid is an experienced musician, having played the violin since age 5. He studied briefly at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm before pursuing film studies, but is still an active classical- and folk musician.
Arvid is also an educated screenwriter, having studied at Story Academy (Gotlands Folkhögskola) between 2018-2021. He has since developed feature screenplays that have been pitched for Netflix, and consulted on projects for major production companies.
