Biography
Bianca Cruzeiro is a dynamic Swedish actress known for her powerful presence on both stage and screen. A graduate of Stockholms Dramatiska Högskola (2015), she has since built a rich and multifaceted career across theatre, film, and television.
She has performed at Sweden’s most prestigious stages—including Dramaten, Stockholms Stadsteater, and Riksteatern—earning acclaim for her emotional depth and commanding performances. On screen, Bianca has appeared in several acclaimed films and television series. In 2020, she was awarded the Guldbagge Award for Best Supporting Actress, cementing her place as one of Sweden’s most compelling talents.
As a director and creator, Bianca brings a bold, personal voice to her work. Her original productions include Real Talk, a sound and movement exploration of Argentinian tango; Jag är en Carneval, a provocative piece addressing the hypersexualized lens on Brazilian women; and Frida – ¿Qué coño pasó?, an intimate investigation of identity, art, and her own parallels with Frida Kahlo.
Bianca is also a trained dancer in both classical ballet and Argentinian tango, and holds a degree in architecture—adding a unique physical and spatial awareness to her creative process.
